The government has appealed adverse rulings on DNU 366/2025 to Argentina's Supreme Court. No Supreme Court ruling has been issued. This page will be updated within days of any Supreme Court ruling, new tender announcement, or published regulation.
Late June 2026
Argentina's National Electoral Chamber ruled in a separate case (Yang, Liping) that DNU 366/2025 is null and void, ordering the decision communicated to federal judges with citizenship jurisdiction.
June 18, 2026
A federal appeals court (Cámara Civil y Comercial Federal, Sala III) ruled in the Volosh case that DNU 366/2025 is unconstitutional, finding the government had not demonstrated the necessity and urgency required to bypass ordinary congressional process.
April 14, 2026
Resolution 522/2026, signed by Minister of Economy Luis Caputo, cancelled the operator tender entirely. No contract was awarded. The resolution did not repeal Decree 524/2025 or DNU 366/2025.
March 5, 2026
Evaluation commission recommended a winning consortium for the operator tender; the recommendation never advanced to a formal contract award.
January 20, 2026

December 2025
