# Argentina citizenship by investment application process The Argentina citizenship by investment application process has a review framework in Decree 524/2025. Operational instructions still need verification before an applicant submits documents or transfers investment funds. The decree describes APCI assessing whether the investment qualifies, obtaining relevant reports and recommending an outcome to the National Directorate of Migration. The applicant does not assume the site's contact form files anything with APCI. Once a valid submission exists under the operational rules, the review framework applies. Investment qualification is assessed, agency information is gathered and APCI prepares its report. Only when Migration receives that report does the stated decision period begin. If financial records need clarification during an earlier stage, the 30-business-day provision does not make that earlier stage disappear. It cannot support a promise of citizenship in six weeks from first contact. ## The payment question matters Decree 524 refers to an investment already made. That wording should not be converted into invented payment instructions or a claim that every applicant can wait until conditional approval to invest. Obtain the current program procedure, authorized receiving account and applicable refund terms directly through verified channels. Prepare questions about forms, evidence validity, translations, fees and communications.
