Investment migration

Argentina citizenship by investment requirements

Argentina citizenship by investment requirements are only partly defined in the October 2, 2026 announcement. The financial routes, family categories and review subjects are described, but that notice is not a complete eligibility checklist.

A useful initial assessment separates an announced category from a final determination. Meeting a financial amount does not establish approval.

Result: Cannot assess from published information

  • Main applicant financial route: announced Treasury contribution or program bond category appears relevant if capital is available through the formal financial system.
  • Cannot assess funding readiness from published information alone.
  • This tool cannot check undisclosed nationality restrictions, unpublished documentary standards or legal history.

Example: a household with a 22-year-old child

Hypothetical scenario: a 48-year-old investor wants to apply with a spouse, a 16-year-old daughter and a 22-year-old son who is unmarried and has no children.

The spouse and both children fit categories described in the announcement. The adult son needs particular attention because his age and circumstances fall within the stated 18–25 category. That observation is not a final eligibility opinion: the family still needs the official evidence rules and the date on which age will be assessed.

The main applicant's financial capacity also leaves other questions open. The review considers the origin of capital and background information, rather than treating the contribution as the only condition.

Prepare questions, not an assumed approval

The readiness checker can identify which family category appears relevant and where clarification is needed. It cannot check undisclosed nationality restrictions, unpublished documentation standards or a person's legal history.

Record the proposed funding source and the household's ages. Avoid commissioning time-sensitive certificates until their required form and validity period are confirmed. The family page addresses category boundaries, while the source-of-funds page explains how to identify a documentation gap.
